This is an antique Brunswick Balke Collander Co. phonograph made in the 1920's with the newest patent date 1922. It looks and works like the old Victrola . The model number is BTON. It is a full console low profile Victorian style with Queen Ann curved legs. The cabinet is all a mahogany all original in good condition no cracks or broken part. The phonograph compartment has a lift up cover and inside is the player. The player has a reproducing pick up made by the three companies with patent date Sep. 18 1917 and the word
Pultane under the mica. . The pick up arm tone arm has a counter weight There is a stop and start lever and a speed control. The green felt is in nice condiftion and there is still some shine to the pot metal and chrome on the reproducing arm and pick up. The right side of the cabinet has the crank and a sliding shaft to adjust the volume. On the front under the player is a door and storage space for records. In the middle there is a wooden grill covering the exponential speaker horn made of beautiful wood. There is a cover over the grill that slides under it and can pulled up when the player is not used. On the left side there is another door and a lot more storage space for records. The overall dimensions are 36x21x 34" This piece can be used as is or refinished. Included are a lot of old and new steel needles , 1 10" 78 RPM Columbia record, an old dust eraser and an old record album.. I have some other old 78 records that I can provide.
